Menopause is when menstruation stops permanently due to the loss of ovarian follicular activity. The capillary home blood testing kits are a reliable and robust way of running remote diagnostic tests. The samples are processed at a UK registered laboratory which adheres to the strict UK compliance regulations. The gold standard for blood testing is by venous sample venesection (when you visit the lab for a phlebotomist to collect the blood sample from your arm). There may be minor discrepancies between the results from capillary home kits and lab venous samples. Please note our capillary samples kits are screening test and not diagnostics tests. If an abnormality is identified, we advise you consult with your GP for a formal medical assessment and the consideration for further testing which may include venous blood tests.
